Who's Erik?
I was born in The Hague (Netherlands) on June 27 1966 but spent
most of my youth in Oosterhout (NB, The Netherlands) where I attended
the
Beiaard elementary school and the St. Oelbert
Gymnasium. I subsequently got an electrical engineering degree and
a
PhD at the University
of Twente in
the group for Systems
and Materials
for Information Storage. While there, I worked on improving a
measurement
system that is widely used for magnetic measurements, the so called VSM
or
Vibrating Sample Magnetometer. I continued to work on this type of
system in the USA (where I moved in 1996). I now work for the ADE
technologies
, one of the world's leading manufacturers of magnetic measurement metrology.
In May 1996 I met Ginette Mayas, not too long thereafter we
started dating and finally, In October 2003 we got married. (for

We now live in a great house in a
very beautiful
area of Framingham, MA.
